We have also undertaken the following activities during the COVID-19 pandemic
- ECD networks meeting for capacity building on schools reopening
- Facilitated graduation ceremony for 75 FETC ECD level 4 qualification and 202 Unit Standard Based ECD Skills Programme on Babies, Toddlers and Young children.
- Enrichment on HUB Project for 28 ECD centres training of 28 ECD practitioners and 6 ECD site visited for theme demonstration.
- Facilitated the distribution of 1000 voucher donated by the DG Murray Trust.
- We planted cabbage, beetroot, carrot, spinach and onions for food security which were distributed to staff and Bona Gona children’s parents during lockdown.
- Online capacity building on Tessa Boc
- 12 Staff members attended CDP workshop, and NCF workshop by Ntataise.
- Online training of trainers workshop.
- Attended Ntataise capacity building for Directors and meetings
- Online GoCanvas workshop by Ntataise reaching 78 ECD centres.
- GK Bona Gona ECD Model Creche partial care registration.
- Vangaseli campaign reaching 76 ECD centres.
- Distribution of books to ECD centres and Family Literacy programme families.
- Continuation of ECD training for FETC ECD Level 4 qualification.
- Facilitated Family Literacy programmes at the households.
